Free Choice Project Pictures
Final, Free Choice Project Reflection: May 30, 2013
1. It took me just a couple days to make my free choice project because I was so busy with pottery and weebly that I started to run out of time. I used grey clay and a white glaze. I used different colorburst peices to make the glaze look cool.
2. I think the strong part sof my project was the font of the writing and the drawing of Pooh, because it looks like the writing and drawing of the picture I used.
3. I could have done a better job with the detail and form, because I just kind of made it very quickly at the last minute.
4. The theme of my project is Winnie the Pooh, and it is just for decoration. The drawing of pooh and the quote reflect the theme.
5. I think that form and color are the most important elements of my project. The color is important because the splatters pop out.
6. In my project the unity is the most important principle because the quote and the drawing go together. Emphasis is also important because there is emphasis on the random spots of color.
7.I learned that you need to take extra time to make things well, and if you just slap it together it wont look as good.
8. I picked out a quote and picture that I liked, then I made a slab of clay. After that I just carved in the qoute and picture. I had to redraw the picture a couple times, because I changed my mind on what picture to use.
9. My project was planned because I knew what I wanted to make. One major challenge that I had was that I wanted to make Whinnie the Pooh look 3D, but I couldn't get the form right with the amount of time I had to make it in. I later decided to just draw the picture on the slab.
10. I think that it is a worthwhile project for myself, but i wish I had more time to make it. I havent yet decided what I want to do for my next project, but i think it will probably be a painting because I love to paint.
