Pictures of Monochromatic, emotional nonbrush Painting
Non-Brush, Monochromatic, Emotional Painting Reflection. April 16th, 2013
1. I think that the detail was done well because I used folded up paper towels to make clean lines and edges.
2. I could have done a better job making emotion because black and white dosn't really have much emotion.
3. The theme of my painting is nostalgia for the past, because black and white reminds me of the past. I picked this emotion because I really like black and white and I really wanted to paint a picture for my grandma.
4. I didn't use any color in my painting, because I only used black and white in order to create a picture that looked like it came from the past.
5. I used canvas for my painting, because I think that it looks the best in the end. I used paper towels to apply my paint because I could fold it into a point in order to create detail and paint fine areas.
6. I learned that you can still have detail without using the usual paintbrush and by using something new.
7. The first thing I did was research what I wanted to paint, then I decided how I wanted to paint it. Once I got my canvas ready, I drew my design and started painting. Throughout my painting process I had to adjust a few things in order to make it look right.
8. I think that the project should either just be monochromatic or just non-brush because I think that it would turn out better
